From “William Wallace of Culloden” in today’s Sunday Herald, a reference to Wendy Alexander as the “best that the wee wummins party could put up”. And in enraged response to some perfectly reasonable criticisms of the SNP in the same thread, “bully wee alba” of Edinburgh wrote of Labour’s need to “find a roll for Jackie Baillie, (preferably one containing sausage, bacon, a fried egg as well as a portion of mushrooms”.
